Indian Business Awards 2009 was grandly held in Stamford Plaza of Auckland On November 16, GMP Pharmaceutical won the award of “Best Large Business” category.
The judging panel comprised Chad Wilkie, Executive Director, Ignition Partner, Nevil Gibson, Editor-in-Chief, The National Business Review, Vijaya Vaidyanath, Chief Executive, Waitakere City Council, Steve Corbett, Chief Executive, e-Centre Ltd, Massey University , David Hawkins, Associate Professor, Unitec School of Design and some well-known entrepreneurs . They spoke highly of GMP pharmaceutical‘s unique “One Stop OEM Service”, to work together with various background migrants to export products and services to their home countries.
This business model made GMP pharmaceutical, established in 2002, quickly become the country’s largest pharmaceutical and functional food processing plant.
New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, leader of the Opposition party, Phil Goff, Waitakere Mayor Bob Harvey and Manukau Mayor Len Brown went to the site to congratulate the winners. Last year, Phil Goff, former Minister of Trade, had personally written to extend congratulations for the opening of AUNEW HUB’s Beijing flagship.

GMP Pharmaceuticals New Zealand has doubled its floor size
Sep. 2009, following successful acquisition of National Starch New Zealand plant, GMP Pharmaceuticals New Zealand has doubled its floor size again to about 8000 ㎡. USA FDA registered manufacturing plant
June 2008, GMP Pharmaceuticals New Zealand became a USA FDA registered manufacturing plant, which allows GMP New Zealand to make dietary supplement products for the USA market. (28/07/2010 12:05:06)
New Zealand Exporter of the Year
Feb. 2008, GMP Pharmaceuticals New Zealand was awarded “New Zealand Exporter of the Year” for 2007. This is the second time for GMP NZ has won this important award following the wining of “New Zealand Exporter of the Year 2006” in 2007. (28/07/2010 12:03:44)
New Zealand Factory was formally confirmed by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise
October 2007 – GMP Pharmaceuticals New Zealand Factory was formally confirmed by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise as a finalist in Agritech, Life Sciences and Biotechnology category of the 2007 New Zealand Export Awards.
Export Awards Dinner will be held at the Skycity Convention Centre on Thursday 15 November 2007. Delegates from GMP will take part in the award meeting and receive the prizes at the appointed time.

21 September 2007 - GMP Pharmaceuticals New Zealand just completed its
warehouse extension project. The 2100 square meter 10 meter high modern
warehouse will increase more than 2000 pallets storage capacity.




GMP Pharmaceuticals New Zealand Factory was awarded NEW ZEALAND EXPORTER
February 2007 - GMP Pharmaceuticals New Zealand Factory was awarded NEW ZEALAND EXPORTER of THE YEAR for 2006.
The judging panel, which comprised Natural Products New Zealand Members, said….
“GMP Pharmaceuticals have produced a well executed sales and marketing
plan to achieve their growth which has been supported by New Zealand
Trade & Enterprise and the company has ensured that it has world
class manufacturing standards which are pivotal to its success.”
The award were announced at the annual Natural Products Summit,
participating companies ranged from Natural Health specialists to
Contract manufactures including many industry leaders like Healtheries,
Nutri-Life, Blackmores, Lifestream and Thompsons as well as research

GMP Pharmaceuticals Ltd. facilities are now approved to do E-Certifications
4 October 2006 - GMP Pharmaceuticals Ltd. facilities at 12 Averton
Place, East Tamaki are now approved to do E-Certifications for bee
products and animal products. Certification is usually a five step
process with multiple audits by the New Zealand Food Safety Authority to
verify the Risk Management Program. However due the excellent quality
system and procedures in place we were authorized to do E-Certs on the
very first audit.
This achievement opens up the opportunity to export animal products and
bee products made at GMP Pharmaceuticals to the European Union. If
Europe is a target market for your company we would be pleased to
discuss how we can assist you with E-Cert manufacture.
